Registration Openings
Members: 8:00am, 7 days in advance of the scheduled court booking.
Public: 8:00am, 4 days in advance of the scheduled court booking.
Please note that if after 10 minutes you have not received a confirmation email of your booking, call the Customer Service Desk at 403-253-8600,ext.0). If you have not received a confirmation email, you have not been booked so also check the junk/spam folder of your email.
Cancellation and no show policy- 12 hours or more in advance of your booking: Receive a full refund.
- Less than 12 hours in advance of your booking: No refund or credit available.
- No show: No refund or credit available.
This policy helps maintain the quality of play, and ensure a consistent, enjoyable experience for everyone. It applies to both members and non members.
To avoid a cancellation fee, we ask that all cancellations be made at least 12 hours in advance of the scheduled court time. This policy is in place to reduce last minute cancellations, which can disrupt scheduling and affect other players’ ability to participate fully.
Additionally, all participants must check in at the Customer Service Desk with a staff member, and clearly state they are here for their pickleball court. Failure to check in properly will be treated as a no show, and a no show fee will apply.
The JCC unfortunately can’t guarantee a specific number of players per court. Please take a moment to check your bookings the night before, and decide whether you’d like to keep or cancel them. When checking, consider the following: “If this is the number of participants for my session tomorrow, am I ok with that?” If not, you need to cancel your booking at least 12 hours before to avoid paying the cancellation fee.
Tips for smaller groups:
1-on-1: Play cross-court or on half a court to make the game more manageable.
2-on-1: The team with two players can limit their shots to one section of the opposing court.
Open Courts
All participants must be 16+ years of age, and must pre-book and reserve a court spot in advance online in order to play - no exeptions.
Choose between 5 options to book:
· Novice - Appropriate for those beginning to play and newer to Pickleball, as well as those playing occasionally (once or twice a week) or are familiar with Pickleball.
· Intermediate - Appropriate for those experienced in Pickleball and playing fast-paced games many times weekly.
· Intermediate Plus - These courts will be open for registration to those in the higher range of the intermediate level only.
· Advanced - Appropriate ONLY for those with advanced Pickleball skills.
· Open - Available for individual booking, with no skill level restrictions. Open courts encourage more play opportunities, with more booking coordination among participants.
1.5-Hour Court Time
Members: Free
Public: $7.50 + GST, per person
2-Hour Court Time
Members: Free
Public: $10 + GST, per person
Private Courts
Book a private pickleball court for up to 5 participants maximum (children welcome). Each booking is for 2 hours.
Only one person needs to book and pay for the court, with no need for others to register. Public participants must check in at the Customer Service Desk, stating they are here for a private pickleball court booking.
Available private pickleball courts are pre-determined/scheduled only, not on a request basis.
