Join in on this combined certification program which provides all aspects of intermediate first aid and CPR such as: medical/legal aspects, spinal injuries, heat or cold injuries, bone and joint injuries, abdominal and chest injuries, burns, and medical emergencies. Includes CPR-C certification. Lifesaving Intermediate First Aid is Government of Alberta and Government of Northwest Territories workplace approved. The Bronze Medallion portion will challenge candidates through judgment, knowledge, skill, and fitness; the basis of Bronze Medallion training. Candidates acquire the assessment and problem-solving skills needed to make good decisions in, on, and around the water. Prerequisite: Minimum 13 years of age or Bronze Star certification (need not be current).
